December 11, 2000 10:51: Casuals were unlucky not to claim all three points in an excellent Ryman League Division Three top-of-the-table clash at Bracknell on Saturday.

Casuals took the lead on 26 minutes when Simon Shergold lobbed the keeper from 25 yards and extended it eight minutes later, when Ian McDermott smashed the ball past the keeper.

Bracknell came more into the game at the close of the half and were to dominate the second period.

With nine minutes to go, Gary Holzman slid in to give Bracknell a lifeline and three minutes later Micky Havermanns equalised.

The draw leaves Casuals second in the table and ends their run of seven Ryman League wins a club record in this league.

Casuals manager Trevor Waller was named Spall Sports manager of the month for Division Three, following the clubs 100 per cent league record during November.
