Police re-open Hamble Lane after hour-long closure
THE main road leading into Hamble has just been reopened after police stopped traffic because of concerns for a man's safety.
A 999 call was made around 11.15am reporting concerns that a person was about to take their own life at the railway bridge in Hamble Lane.
The road is the main route in and out of the Hamble leading to the M27.
Police have confirmed the road was closed for around an hour while they dealt with the incident and the man was brought to safety.
