JASON Harding was left shell-shocked after being crowned British champion at this year’s UKBFF Finals.
The Physiques & Shapes member came top of the pile in the Athletic class at the Manchester showpiece – much to his own surprise.
The 46-year-old said: “It’s a bit of a dream come true.
“Usually I qualify for the Finals and go there to make up the numbers but to actually win my class is unbelievable and I’m still a bit shell-shocked.
“I was quite fortunate as this was the first year they ran the Athletic class. It suits me very well, especially with all the exercises that go with it.
“I obviously did well in those as I now have the British title. It was a surprise though, as I was merely hoping to get into the top three. So to actually win it, I’m very pleased.
“It’ll be interesting to see how I get on next year.”
