THE winding up petition filed against Dorchester Town last Friday has been put down to an administrative error.
The Magpies have just released the following statement on their official website: "Early on Monday morning it was established the winding up petition was presented by HMRC, despite the club being up to date with PAYE and VAT payments.
"In Court the barrister for HMRC requested the petition be dismissed and Registrar Jones agreed to this. As suspected it appears to have been an administrative error from HMRC."
