THE Terras will field their strongest available line-up in the Dorset Senior Cup this evening.

Tonight’s local derby against Portland United at the Bob Lucas Stadium (7.45pm) promises to be an intriguing affair and Brendon King is planning to use the opportunity to explore a new system ahead of this Saturday’s trip to Bedford Town.

The Weymouth boss said: “We will be going as strong as we can.

“Had we played Saturday we might have changed things around and taken a look at a few of the reserves, but as our game was postponed we will use tonight to get some game time and maybe look at a different system ahead of our league trip to Bedford at the weekend.

“It is certainly better than training and not only that but Portland are a good side with some decent players.

“They will come here fancying their chances of causing an upset so it is important we go out and put in a professional performance.”

Ed Palmer and Sam Poole will both return to the Terras’ line-up but Kyle Critchell still has two games to serve of a three-match suspension.

Another quarter-final clash will take place tonight at Tatnam where Bridport will come up against hosts Poole Town (7.45pm).
