Dorchester Town's game at Bath City washed out
12:24pm Saturday 29th December 2012 in Sport By David Williams, Sports Reporter
THE Magpies have suffered a third washout on the bounce after their match at Bath City this afternoon was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Referee Simon Knapp was given no option but to call off the game following an inspection of the Mayday Trust Park pitch this morning.
That means Dorchester, weather permitting, will now be in action on New Year's Day when Truro City visit the Avenue.
Weymouth's home encounter with St Neots Town is still set to go ahead despite the heavy rain which has fallen in Dorset in the last few hours.
Bridport's game at Bitton in the Toolstation Western Premier Division is off as are the games in the Magna Dorset Premier League involving Bridport Reserves, Weymouth Reserves and Chickerell United.
As it stands, Portland United's home game against Parley Sports is the only one to beat the weather.
