PAUL Harding is excited about the prospect of seeing a full-strength pack in action against title-chasing Sherborne tomorrow (2.30pm).

Tim Comben, Harry Charles and Tom Smethurst are all back available for Weymouth for what promises to be an intriguing clash at Monmouth Avenue where the hosts will bid to end the North Dorset outfit’s six-game winning streak.

Head coach Harding told Echosport: “The performance at Oakmeadians last week in difficult conditions was terrific and at the moment we have a full-strength pack for tomorrow for the first time in a while.

“Selection has been really difficult this week but at the end of the day you can only take 18 and looking at the side we have out I am really excited to see how we get on.

“Sherborne are strong in every department and are going really well, so we know it is going to be tough but I am sure the boys will rise to the challenge.”

Dorchester are also in action in Southern Counties South tomorrow at table-topping Dev-izes.

The county town outfit def-eated Corsham at home last Saturday but they will find life much tougher this weekend against a Wiltshire outfit that have lost only twice so far this season.

Bridport will look to get back to winning ways at second-bottom Warminster in Dorset & Wilts One South, while basement boys Swanage & Wareham will bid to end a run of three straight defeats at Salisbury in South West One East.

After four weeks without a competitve fixture, fourth-placed Puddletown return to Dorset & Wilts Two South action with the visit of Ellingham & Ringwood Seconds (2.30pm).

Earlier in the season the Villagers came away from Parsonage Barn Lane with a hard fought 22-20 win and so have the chance of completing their first double of the current campaign.

However, the Hampshire outfit currently sit just three places behind, and as the league’s third highest scorers they will come to Greenfields confident of reversing that earlier result.

The break has at least given a number of Puddletown players the chance to recover from various knocks, and at present only scrum-half Max Welch (broken ankle) remains on the injury list.
