TONIGHT'S friendly between Bridport and Weymouth at St Mary's Field has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Officials from both clubs were initially optimistic the game would go ahead but overnight rain has left them with no other choice this morning but to call it off.
The encounter was set up to raise much-needed funds for the Bees who have been struggling of late due to a lack of home games.
