THE Magpies slugged it out in the mud at the Avenue Stadium this afternoon to gain a valuable point against Havant & Waterlooville in Blue Square Bet South.
Despite being thin on numbers, Dorchester produced a gutsy display and did remarkably well to snuff out the Hawks’ forward line, which is considered one of the best in the division.
Nathan Walker and Neil Martin were particularly impressive at the back for the hosts, who would have won it had Ben Watson not squandered a great opportunity late on.
