Magpies Reserves' game bites the dust

THE Wyvern Premier League encounter between Dorchester Town Reserves and Winchester City, set for the Avenue tonight, has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.

It follows the postponement of the Dorchester first team's Blue Square Bet South fixture against Farnborough last night.

The reserve team's game with Winchester was originally abandoned last month when freezing temperatures made the playing surface too dangerous.

Dorchester were leading 3-0 when the referee brought the game to a halt with 53 minutes gone.
