TERRAS: Brendon King could 'shake things up' at Hinckley
BRENDON King could “shake things up a bit” for his side’s showdown with Hinckley United tomorrow (3pm) following the Terras’ first loss of the season on Tuesday night.
Weymouth’s Calor League Premier Division campaign has hit the brakes somewhat in recent weeks with two points picked up from the last three outings.
They go to De Montfort Park in Leicestershire smarting from a 1-0 midweek defeat at Bideford, however, Hinckley themselves are really struggling to find their feet since being relegated from Conference North last season.
King is set to keep faith with the squad that lost at Bideford as the injured quartet of Simon Evans, Michael Walker, Jamie Symes and Kyle Critchell are all still out.
“We can’t do anything about the last game and we have to move on,” he said. “Hopefully we can put it right tomorrow nd go there and be positive.
“At the end of the day, we’ve played six games and lost one and although we might shake things up a little bit, we won’t be panicked into making a lot of changes.
“Hinckley aren’t doing too well but it would be wrong of us to go there thinking we are going to be in for an easy game.”
Better ball retention is what King feels is needed from his side as they look to put Tuesday’s disappointment to bed.
He added: “We want to keep the ball a little bit better and be more solid away from home in general.
“It’s important we kick on now and put in a decent performance.
“We don’t know a great deal about them but sometimes that can work in your favour.”
The Terras are fifth in the table with 11 points from six matches, while Hinckley are one place off the bottom.
