TERRAS: Evans ruled out for the rest of the season

THE Terras have been dealt another huge blow with the news that Simon Evans has been ruled out for the rest of the season with cruciate-ligament damage.
The 25-year-old goalkeeper suffered the injury in a pre-season friendly at Portland United back on July 20 but only received the results of his MRI scan earlier this week.
This latest setback follows the news that midfielder Kyle Critchell faces months of rehabilitation after undergoing numerous surgeries to remove a life-threatening infection.
Last month the 26 year-old was diagnosed with severe sepsis but is now in a stable condition at Dorset County Hospital where he wants fans to respect his privacy.
The Terras have also been without Michael Walker (hernia) and Jamie Symes (groin) so far this season but boss Brendon King is hopeful that both men are just a couple of weeks away from returning.
