So, the Terras live to fight another day in this season's FA Cup after coming from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 at home against Bognor Regis.
Sadly for the Magpies their campaign is over already after losing 1-0 to Shortwood United and a contentious penalty at the Avenue.
It will be a replay for the Terras in the week and back to league duty next time out for Dorchester.
Match reports and reaction from today will follow.
MAGPIES: FT 0-1
The FA Cup dream is over for this season for the Magpies.
It was a very harsh penalty that was given against them in the second half and they had no response.
Back to the league now.
TERRAS: FT Terras 2 Bognor 2
TERRAS: Attendance: 598
TERRAS: It's a grandstand finish now
TERRAS: Joyce levels for the Terras 2-2
TERRAS: GOAL: Stewart Yetton makes it 2-1 after blocking the keeper's clearance
MAGPIES: The natives are getting restless here.
Not long after Shortwood took the lead Wakefield went down in the United box but saw a free-kick go against him.
Then, after coming off the bench for Wakefield, Ashley Vickers was booked for going in hard on Tim Hancock.
10 mins plus injury time left.
TERRAS: Sam Poole booked for lunging tackle on edge of box
TERRAS: Matt Groves on for McConnell as the Terras go for broke
TERRAS: Weymouth look stunned after the quickfire double from Bognor
TERRAS: Mark Ford comes on for Michael Walker
MAGPIES: 62mins Magpies 0 Shortwood 1
Duncan Culley scores from the spot after one of the harshest penalty awards you will see.
Couldn't pick up the number of the United player who shot from just outside the box but Josh Wakefield instinctively put his hands up to prevent him being knocked out about five yards away and the ball hits them.
The ref, Aarron Moody, points to the spot and then gives Walker a second yellow and cautions Bassele.
TERRAS: Hopkinson curls in a superb goal to make it 2-0 to Bognor
TERRAS: Dave Allen booked for dissent
MAGPIES: Penalty to Shortwood!!!
TERRAS: 1-0 to Bognor, Ben Johnson sidefoots home from the penalty spot
TERRAS: Penalty to Bognor
TERRAS: It's still fairly even at the Bob Lucas Stadium with no clear-cut chances in the second period
MAGPIES: 57mins Walker for Dorchester and Mark Pritchett for United booked for going head-to-head. Handbags really and ref getting a bit carried away.
MAGPIES: 49mins Great early chance for the Magpies. Martin floats a corner over and unmarked Arran Pugh heads staright at the United keeper.
TERRAS: We're underway again for the second-half
MAGPIES: 0-0 HT. Some good chances for both sides in the first half though no-one as yet has been able to break the deadlock.
TERRAS: HT: Terras 0 Bognor 0
TERRAS: Five minutes to half-time and there's nothing to separate the sides in a stop-start game
Good luck to my boy @JLSmeeton88 for his first game back today and the rest of @DorchTownFC boys. #DTFC #3— @SherrieDampier 28 September 2013
@DorchTownFC hope Jason Kennard gets on, would defo bang in a goal or two— @jackvalls 28 September 2013
MAGPIES: 35mins Decent effort from Mark Jermyn whose header from Smeeton's cross goes close.
I can't see this being as straight forward as Dinky the Bear predicted before the game (4-1 to Magpies)!
All three Walkers play for Weymouth #Terras #Coyt— @worldcupnuts 28 September 2013
TERRAS: Nathan Walker heads over from Scott Walker's free-kick
TERRAS: Nathan Walker has a goal disallowed after his brother Michael is ruled offside (23mins)
MAGPIES: 23mins We have a break in play here as Danny Green has gone down off the ball.
At first glance it doesn't look very good for the player who not too long ago spent around nine months out with a serious knee injury.
Danny Way is on.
TERRAS: Sorry for the delay, IT issues, Bognor started the better side but the Terras are coming more into the game now. Scott Walker and Ben Joyce seeing efforts go wide
MAGPIES: 9mins A hairy few minutes for the Magpies as first of all Jake Smeeton throws himself to the ground to block a shot by Sam Avery then a mistake by Steve Walker lets in Tim Hancock and he hits the base of the post.
Smeeton is then booked for a foul on John Cant. Free-kick goes over.
MAGPIES: We're under way at the Avenue and Phil Simkin has taken up his seat in the stand after being sent from the dugout against Bishop's Stortford.
@DorchTownFC loving that we have so many reserve players as well, recognition for the good work were doing as a squad! :)— @antonycarlile10 28 September 2013

At least its dry for todays game @DorchTownFC !! Bring it on Shortwood!— @HazelLass 28 September 2013
MAGPIES: The teams are in and there are two changes to the Magpies' starting line-up.
Jake Smeeton is back after fracturing a toe and replaces goalscorer last week Danny Way, who drops to the bench.
As expected, Josh Wakefield comes in for the suspended Lewis Morgan and Ashley Vickers is among a youthful subs bench.
As well as Way, Vickers and sub keeper Tim Sandercombe are Jack Twyford, Anthony Rolls and Jason Kennard. The last two joined the club in the summer and have been playing for the reserves up until now.
Magpies: Walker-Harris, Green, Smeeton, Jermyn (c), Walker, Pugh, Crittenden, Wakefield, Watson, Bassele, Martin.
Subs: Way, Vickers, Twyford, Rolls, Kennard, Sandercombe
Shortwood: King, Avery, Bennett, Pritchett, Coates, Baldwin, T Hancock, Parrott (c), Culley, Mann, Cant.
Subs: N Hancock, Brown, Langworthy, Axton, Slack, Herbert
Referee: Aarron Moody (Eastleigh)
MAGPIES: They didn't know it at this stage of the competition last year but the Magpies were about to go on to reach the second round proper of the FA Cup.
Today it is the second qualifying round and a home tie against Southern League side Shortwood United.
Who knows, maybe lightning could strike twice in the same place and another giant-killing act might not be that far away.
And some breaking news to give you is that Phil Simkin has brought in former player/manager Ashley Vickers on non-contract terms.
It will be interesting to see how Vickers goes. It might be that he is thrown up front from his usual position at centre-half.
Today should also see on-loan midfielder Josh Wakefield make his Magpies debut after joining from AFC Bournemouth on Thursday.
Team news to follow....
Good luck today @DorchTownFC. Another FA Cup adventure begins here! Important match. #youaremymagpies— @Ian_Evans 28 September 2013
