TREVOR Senior will be after a repeat performance this Saturday when the Bees travel to Longwell Green Sports in the Toolstation Western Premier Division (3pm).

Bridport went down 4-0 at Weymouth in the quarter-finals of the Dorset Senior Cup on Tuesday night but the scoreline certainly did not reflect the game.

The West Dorset outfit matched the Terras for long periods in the tie and Senior believes a similar display this Saturday at Longwell Green Sports would be more than enough to claim the points.

He said: “Overall, I thought we gave a decent account of ourselves against strong opposition and if we play like that at Longwell Green on Saturday I will be more than happy.”

Senior has Sam Filkins back in goal tomorrow while skipper Ryan Hayter and striker Max Buckler also return to the squad.

However, there is some doubt over whether Matt Morley (groin) and Chris Clarke (knee) will be available.

The Bees chalked up their first home win of the season by beating the Green 4-0 back on September 14 and looking at the formbook they are clear favour-ites to overcome them again this weekend.

Senior’s men are currently unbeaten in six in the league while Longwell have picked up just one point from their last four.

Bridport showed great character to claim a 1-1 draw late on against Hallen last weekend but Senior was still a little disappointed with the outcome.

Darren Watts grabbed the equaliser with an 89th-minute header following a brilliant cross from Dan Wise.

That result has left the Bees one spot and three points above the Green in 13th place. However, the Bristol outfit have played three games less.
