This live event has finished
- Hitchin have won their last four games in the Calor Southern Premier Division while the Terras have collected just nine points from their last nine. Brendon King and his players are under severe pressure and a positive result tonight is clearly a must. To get involved in tonight's coverage Tweet your thoughts and opinions using #Terras
Can't help but think that the players have let the management down significantly. #Terras— @TerraFirmaMJF 09 December 2013
Hitchin 3 Weymouth 2
Things need to change other wise relegation is a certainty #terras— @moorsy11 09 December 2013
The Terras do not deserve to lose this. Can they rescue a point in the closing stages?
What a surprise Weymouth loosing again, nope not a surprise at all 😡😡 #terras— @moorsy11 09 December 2013
RT @MattyBarton1: My sieve has less holes than the Weymouth defence. #terras— @lee_price17 09 December 2013
Oh No Weymouth losing 3-2 #Terras— @WhatsonWeymouth 09 December 2013
Oh that is so cruel!!! Kim Forsythe scores on the counterattack to give Hitchin a 3-2 lead.
The Terras made a cracking start to the second half and deserved to go ahead through Michael Walker's header from a free-kick but since Dan Webb equalised Hitchin have upped the tempo and caused more of the problems. Attendance 250
Former Terra Daniel Webb levels for Hitchin. Hitchin 2 Weymouth 2
Hitchin equalise to make it 2-2
Michael Walker puts the Terras 2-1 up.
The Terras will be playing up the slope in the second half. There are also concerns about the lighting at the ground, particularly from Jason Matthews.
The first half was a bit of a war of attrition and so far the Terras have shown great character and spirit, and have given as good as they have got. In fact they almost went ahead before the break when Matt Groves headed narrowly wide under pressure following good work from Stewart Yetton.
Hitchin 1 Weymouth 1
Still pretty even at Hitchin heading towards the break. The Terras have had the benefit of the slope in the first half but have been unable to make it count as much as they would have liked despite producing a much-improved performance. It's still 1-1
Despite the nonsense off the pitch and unsettled team we have got a goal back at Hitch in #terras— @James_Warrener 09 December 2013
Scott Walker curled the ball around a two-man wall and beat the keeper, who could not reach it diving to his right. That equaliser is thoroughly deserved.
Hitchin 1 Weymouth 1. Scott Walker equalises free-kick from 30 yards on 16 minutes
@MattyRobertz left back, @T0M_V_ & @ollie_tribe centre mids. That'd sort it out. #Terras #Passion #Magnet— @TerraFirmaMJF 09 December 2013
COYT 1-1 #terras— @mark_wratten 09 December 2013
Donnelly found the net after a fine cross from Josh Bickerstaff and some good work from Kim Forsythe
Skipper Callum Donnelly put Hitchin ahead after 12 minutes but by all accounts the Terras are unfortunate to be behind
