WEYMOUTH II 100 OAKMEADIANS II 5

WEYMOUTH Seconds enjoyed a 16-try romp at Monmouth Avenue as their opponents conceded 100 points for the second time this season.

Joel Wilson and Duncan Bezzant led the way on the try-scoring front with both crossing three times, while Sean Murphy touched down twice.

Not to be outdone, Khylo Farley weighed in with 18 points, including two tries, and Matt Hanson’s 17 points also featured a try.

The other players crossing the whitewash were Dean Parker, Will Quick, Alex Hawkins, Andy Bowditch and Gareth Owens.

There was always going to be more room for manoeuvre with the teams agreeing to play a 13-a-side game due to a player shortage for the visitors.

And although it was another afternoon to forget for the Oaks, they did at least score a try, which was more than they did when losing 128-0 to Dorset Dockers earlier in the season.

Weymouth are back in Dorset & Wilts Two South action on Jan-uary 4 when they visit rivals Dor-chester Seconds.

But the club does host a game on Boxing Day (1pm) with a Chair-man’s XV versus a President’s XV.

Anyone who is eligible to play can take their boots and meet up with the rest of the players at the ground at 12.15pm.
