MAGPIES: Dorchester's match at Farnborough postponed

Dorset Echo: LOOKING AHEAD: Magpies boss Phil Simkin's side will next play on Boxing Day LOOKING AHEAD: Magpies boss Phil Simkin's side will next play on Boxing Day

DORCHESTER Town’s Skrill South match away to Farnborough today has been postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.

The decision to call the game off was taken following a pitch inspection at the Rushmoor Community Stadium earlier this morning.

A new date for the rearranged fixture will be announced in due course.

The Magpies will now be in action next on Boxing Day when they host Eastleigh at the Avenue (3pm).

Dorchester’s game is just one of many to fall foul of the wet weather with matches involving Bridport, Bridport Reserves, Upwey & Broadwey, Chickerell United and Portland United Reserves all off.
