WEYMOUTH are in negotiations with Danny Clay over his potential release.

Clay and Terras boss Jason Matthews both confirmed the news to Echosport this morning but the finer details surrounding his impending departure are still yet to be agreed.

The 28-year-old midfielder will travel with the rest of the squad to Arlesey Town tomorrow but he fully expects it to be his "last game" for the club.

Matt Cafer and Barry McConnell have already been ruled out of the trip to Bedfordshire along with long-term absentees Simon Evans, Kyle Critchell, Jamie Symes and Dave Allen.

There are also fears surrounding the fitness of Luke Winsper (ankle), Luke Burbidge (hamstring) and Stewart Yetton (dead leg).
