FREE-SCORING Lazy Lizard continued their excellent form in the only game to survive the wet weather in the Weymouth Sunday League Premiership.

Moby Dick’s were their latest victims in a 5-3 triumph on the 3G at Redlands.

The game was moved to the artificial surface due to the adverse weather conditions, which caused the rest of the games in the division to be postponed.

The Lizard have now scored 21 goals in four successive league wins and as a result have moved up to fifth in the table, just four points off the top three, with a game in hand on the two teams directly above them.

As for the Moby, they now sit third-bottom, having picked up just one point from their last four.

James Aldom, Arron Hayers and Daniel Shepperd grabbed the consolation goals for Jason Wellman’s side.

The Moby travel to basement boys Bakers Arms on Sunday while the Lizard take a trip to Broadmayne.
