MARTINSTOWN Cricket Club have started indoor training at the Thomas Hardye School.
Sessions for under-9s, 11s, 13s and 16s are being taken by experienced coach Sean Fitzgerald.
The club is a big believer in youth development and the first XI, which competes in Dorset Premier Two, often contains a number of players that have risen through the ranks.
The main aim for the indoor sessions is to have fun and improve technique be- fore the outdoor training begins at the club’s Ashton ground.
Martinstown will once again be entering youth teams in local leagues for under-9s, 11s, 13s, 15s and 18s. There are still places available, so if anyone is interested, telephone Lee House on 07966504806 or email there almcc@hotmail.co.uk, or alternatively visit martin stown.play-cricket.com
