TWO of the UK’s best up-and-coming wrestlers are set to go toe-to-toe at the Redlands Community Sports Hub in Weymouth.

The Devon Powerhouse, Chris Andrews, will lock horns with former British cruiserweight champion Marty Scurll at the Suplex Wrestling Show, which will also include a 15-man rumble, a strap match for the Dorset Middleweight Championship and a guest appearance from ex-WWE NXT star Zulu Warrior.

Andrews is best known for his work with Varsity Pro Wrestling and Real Quality Wrestling promotions, while Scurll regularly wrestles for the Frontier Wrestling Alliance, International Pro Wrestling: United Kingdom, All Star Wrestling, Live Wrestling Entertainment and many more.

Early last year, Scurll also featured in the reality television show TNA Wresting: British Boot Camp in which he and three other wrestlers received mentoring from the likes of Hulk Hogan and Rollerball Rocco.

The strap match between Marcus Graves and Weymouth’s very own Robbie Nitro also promises to be a slobberknocker.

Nitro is out for revenge after his opponent cost him a recent bout with Mike Madness.

The spectacular takes place on Saturday. The doors open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start and tickets cost just £7 when booked online at stubmatic.com/suplexwrestling

Tickets will also be available on the door on the night. For more information telephone 07446247669.
