SERITA Shone and team-mate Sian Huxtable just missed out on a podium finish at the British Bobsleigh Championships in Igls, Austria on yesterday.
The duo crashed on their first run but showed great character to climb from last place to fourth with a stunning second run.
Mica McNeill and Nikki McSweeney won the gold medal in the two-man event, silver went to Louise Webster and Dominique Thistleton, while Anna Holmes and Anya Kay took bronze.
Weymouth's Shone, in only her second competition as a driver, tweeted: “Was a great second run! Hopefully with more experience I can shine.”
