TERRAS' boss Jason Matthews praised another impressive goal scoring display from skipper Stewart Yetton as his side breezed through their away test at lowly Bashley last night.
Yetton’s brace either side of half-time in the 3-0 victory, as well as the solidarity of his team’s performance delighted the Weymouth player-manager.
On his prolific frontman, Matthews told Echosport: “Yetts is a born finisher and I’m obviously really pleased with his two strikes.
“Sometimes we have asked him to work hard up front on his own, which he always does. But his goal ratio is what really impresses me, and it’s great to have him in the side.”
On Weymouth’s dominant performance, Matthews added: “I made a few changes to things and had a few tough decisions to make, but I have a squad here now and it’s only fair that others get their chance. They have proved to me tonight that there is competition for places.”
