BUDMOUTH College played host to the annual South & West Dorset Primary High Fives Netball Rally. Following a successful day of group games, Radipole Primary School took the top spot in the large schools competition, beating Wyke Regis in the final 3-1 after extra-time.
Small schools honours were taken by Sunninghill Prep, who beat St Augustine’s in their final 8-4.
The fair play trophy, sponsored by Weymouth Rotary Club, was awarded to Southill Primary.
This award is given to the team who displays consistent sportsmanship throughout the afternoon.
The event was organised and run by sixth form students currently studying for their BTEC Level Three Extended Diploma in Sport, under the guidance of teacher Jo Ray.
The winning teams of both competitions then played each other with Sunninghill defeating Radipole.
Sunninghill will now go on to represent South & West Dorset at the Schools Winter Games final, on April 2.
