TERRAS' player-manager Jason Matthews is looking for more of the same from his in-form charges, as they bid for a fourth successive victory when they take on Burnham at the Bob Lucas Stadium this evening (7.45pm).

Matthews’ men can already take confidence from their 3-1 win over the Blues in the reverse fixture last weekend, and the Terras’ goalkeeper, pictured, is hoping his side can set the tone from the outset at home.

“I just feel that it is another very winnable fixture for us,” Matthews told Echosport.

“We will obviously look to press the ball from the start a bit better because that’s what I like the lads to do.

“It was a scrappy pitch up at Burnham on Saturday and I’m hoping that now we have them at home, the conditions will suit our style of play a bit more.

On his side’s rich vein of form, he added: “I would like to keep the continuity and the positivity at the club at present. I think that lads that have come in on loan have bedded in really well and performed brilliantly over the past few games.”

On whether the Weymouth boss would make any changes to his starting XI from Saturday, he added: “I am not sure at present as I want to keep my players on their toes.”

The Terras find themselves well in the goals at present, having scored 11 times in their last five league games.

Burnham, who took the lead in the opening fifteen minutes of Saturday’s encounter, are in freefall down the Southern Premier Division standings at present.

Their torrid stretch of form dates back to the middle of January, having suffered defeat in 11 out of their last 13 games in all competitions.

Terras: Matthews, Wells, Green, Colwell, Hutchings, Richards, Kelly, Jagger-Cane, Yetton, Rigg, Vassell, Poole, Walker, McClements, Sharpe, Holland, McConnell.
