WITH the destination of the Weymouth Sunday League title having already been determined, the focus now is on who can claim second place behind champions Bar 314.

At the moment, Aura look the best bet to finish as runners-up given their six-point lead over closest challengers Britannia, who face fourth-placed Dolphin on Sunday – Dolphin are seven points adrift of Aura with a game in hand.

Aura showed they are in no mood to relinquish second spot with a 5-0 thrashing of Sailors Return at Redlands last time out.

Both Danny Andrews and Rory Zima bagged braces for the hosts with substitute Jelani Miles-Bell also finding the back of the net.

While Britannia were without a match, Dolphin just missed out on moving above them in the standings as they went down 4-3 at Bar 314.

The league kings have still only lost once this term and a hat-trick for Carl McClements helped them maintain that record.

Ricky Lane got the other goal for the home side who had to withstand a great effort from Dolphin, whose scorers were Charlie Kenderdine, Charlie May and David Powell.
