DORSET have named a 12-man squad for their first pre-season friendly of the summer against Hampshire Seconds XI at the Ageas Bowl on Sunday (11am).
New captain Chris Park leads a Dorset line-up containing the likes of Tom Hicks, Masoor Khan and Ed Denham, pictured, into the match in Southampton.
Eight days later, Dorset travel to Wiltshire for their second warm-up game, before a clash with a Dorset League representative XI at Wim-borne on April 27.
Dorset then begin their one-day Unicorns Knockout Trophy campaign at home to Wales a week later.
County Championship side Hamp-shire visit Dean Park on May 8 for two Twenty20 fixtures to help mark the 150th anniversary of them playing cricket at the Bournemouth venue.
After Hampshire make their midweek visit, Dorset will continue their cup quest against Devon (away), Wiltshire (home) and Cornwall (away).
Following those fixtures, Dorset start their Minor Counties Unicorns Championship season on June 8 with a three-day home match against Devon.
Dorset suffered a woeful season last year as they finished bottom of the Western Division.
