A FRUSTRATED Jason Matthews slammed down a warning to his current Terras’ squad to step up or step out, after they crumbled to a heavy home loss against Truro City.
Matthews was furious about how his side made costly defensive errors, something he is determined to stamp out next term.
He told Echosport: “We gave away poor goals and didn’t react to second balls in the area.
“They had good set-pieces and we gave them too many free-kicks and gave them a leg up, in open play it was even in the first-half but in the second-half we stood off them yet again.
“We just rolled over which in fairness has happened a few times at home, it’s something I need to address and a few people need to step up to the plate. If they aren’t willing to step up to the plate they will be looking for a new club next year.
“A lot will change next season, although I’ve been in the job for four months I haven’t put my stamp on it properly yet. There will be a list of rules and a list of what is expected within this club, which is something that I will instil next year.”
