DORCHESTER Under-10s are ending their second season of full contact rugby in fine style after victory at their own festival tournament.
The county town side’s lead coach Mark Bradley was supported on the day by assistant Geoff Allum and both were extremely proud of the team’s achievement.
They had a very strong group featuring teams from Sherborne, Wimborne, North Dorset and Oakmeadians, but Dorchester secured wins and maximum points in all bar one of their matches.
The finale was a tense 0-0 draw against a very well- prepared North Dorset side – Dorchester took first place on points difference.
As the season comes to a close, the team are now set to go on tour to the Rye Rugby Festival at the beginning of May where they will be playing sides from across the country.
