WEYMOUTH and Portland RFC held its mini and youth end-of-season awards presentation at Monmouth Avenue.
Trophies were presented for player of the season, clubman and most improved player, with medals being given to all players.
The club also awarded certificates to players who participated in ‘Kids First Rugby’, a pilot scheme being run by the RFU and the club to help develop young players in the sport.
Anyone interested in trying out the game is welcome to go along to beach tag rugby sessions on Wednesday even-ings from June to August (6.30-8pm).
The club’s beach tag festival will be on Saturday, July 12.
