The team took five individual gold, three silver, and three bronze medals in tot- al.

The format of the event consisted of a run, a swim and another run with distances comprising of between a 500m to 1,500m first run, a 50m to 200m swim followed by the same distance run again, the distances varied with each age group.

This was the first race in the British Biathle Series, with competitors also trying to qualify for a European place.
