PORTLAND United return to pre-season training on Tuesday in readiness for the 2014/15 season.

Sessions will be held every Tuesday and Thursday at Grove Corner (6.15pm) and all current players are asked to attend.

New players are welcome and should bring trainers and boots to all sessions. Ring 07877516581 for more information.

The Blues, whose first XI are chasing a third successive Dorset Premier League crown next term, have arranged five friendlies before the league season starts on August 9.

The club’s annual shirt sponsorship draw takes place on July 22 after Weymouth visit the Blues.

Entry costs £100 and anyone wishing to take part should contact Dave Camp via jandave12@ btinternet.com or on 861291.

First-team shirt and short sponsorship are the first and second prizes respectively.

Meanwhile, the Blues’ AGM will be held at Grove Corner on July 15 (7.30pm) and all are welcome.

Fixture dates: Bridport (a), July 15; Weymouth (h), July 22; Bournemouth Poppies (h), July 26; Dorchester Town (a), July 29; Chickerell United (h), August 2.
