WEYMOUTH got their preparations for the 2014/15 campaign up and running when the players returned for pre-season training at Redlands.
Player-manager Jason Matthews was pleased to see his squad in a “very good state of fitness” as they took part in their first session back.
Summer signings including Tim Sills and Jamie Laird got to meet their new team-mates and there were also a few trialists taking part that Matthews will be assessing over the coming weeks.
“The new lads are bedding in well and that’s what pre-season is all about, trying to gel everyone together,” said Matthews.
“A couple of trailists came along and they impressed me, and hopefully we’ll have our squad complete in the next couple of weeks.”
