PORTLAND Town Veterans have announced the team’s new three-year sponsor, in the form of the Clifton pub on Portland.

The players will be kitted out in their new strip, paid for by the pub, in time for the kick-off to their campaign in September.

Club founder Andy Barber was delighted with the support.

He told Echosport: “I want to take the time to thank both Fi and Miguel from the Clifton for their generous offer.

“The new kit is really smart and I am sure the players will look forward to turning out in it.

"To have so many local Port-land businesses sponsoring the club is incredible and we are always truly grateful for their support.”

The Clifton are also the latest local business to sign up to the club’s exclusive privilege card scheme.

With nearly 50 organisations already involved, scheme looks set to continue its success story from last season.

Any other businesses wanting to sign up can visit the website ptfcprivilege.co.uk for more details.
