DORCHESTER Tennis and Squash Club held their annual Open Day in glorious sunshine. A warm welcome was extended to anyone wanting to try their hand at tennis, racquetball or squash.

Club coaches were available to offer advice and encouragement to both beginners and more experienced players.

All attendees had the chance to win a free membership of their choice.

This was won by James Emerton, aged three, whose father Tim will enjoy a squash membership for the year.

Sue Rippingale won a Wim-bledon mug for guessing the correct number of balls in a huge container.

Tony Pryce Sports brought a selection of racquets, equipment and clothing from their Dorchester branch.

While Gordon Sharp from Massage Weymouth was on hand to offer free massages and sports injury advice.

A barbecue rounded off the day’s events.

A discounted membership is available for a limited time, offering two months free.

All are welcome to attend any of the club sessions throughout July without paying a guest fee.
