INTO THE FINAL: Jay Lelliott
SWIM star Jay Lelliott is through to the final of the 1500m freestyle at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
The Portland youngster finished fourth in his heat earlier today, recording a time of 15:11.89mins.
He made tomorrow night’s showpiece as the eighth and final qualifier at the end of the three heats.
Reigning Commonwealth champion Ryan Cochrane, from Canada, was the fastest qualifier overall in 15:03.29mins.
