BRIDPORT let slip a 3-0 half-time lead to draw with Wincanton Town in their final pre-season friendly.

The hosts went in front through an own goal before Sean Stewart, who scored along with Ryan Dovell and Darren Watts in a 3-1 victory at Balti House two days earlier, made it 2-0.

And it got better for the Bees just before the break, Matt Cond-liffe producing a neat finish to put Trevor Senior’s men in control.

Wincanton pulled a goal back on 55 minutes and two more followed in quick succession after Bridport had made a treble substitution to freshen things up.

Senior wasn’t too happy with the way his side conceded three times in the second period, and he will be keen to iron out any problems in time for Saturday’s opening league fixture at home to Melksham Town.
