DORCHESTER Town Youth girls’ section held a successful Fun Day at the Avenue Stadium, as the club looks to get more youngsters into the game.
Girls’ section secretary Tony O’Connell confirmed afterwards that another one will be held on Saturday, September 6 at the same venue (11am-1pm).
“I’d like to thank all the girls who attended for being great sports, the coaches for their ongoing efforts and the continued support from the Dorset County FA and the FA Skills Team, all of which is greatly appreciated,” he said.
For any girls interested in playing football or joining one of the youth club’s teams, training continues throughout the summer, while the new season starts on September 13.
