CRUNCH: Chickerell’s Liam Taylor feels the force of a Ferndown tackle
CHICKERELL United booked a place in the second round of the Dorset Senior Trophy with a resounding 8-0 hammering of Ferndown Sports at the Stalls.
Josh Why had an afternoon to remember against the Bournemouth League side, as the striker scored four of his side’s goals.
Warren White bagged a brace and both Liam Taylor and Dan Welch also got on the scoresheet to complete the rout.
The Chickens will now travel to Balti House for an all-Dorset Senior League clash in round two on November 8.
League leaders Balti House won 5-2 at Blandford United Reserves in their first-round encounter.
