WEYSPORTS Netball Club have secured a new sponsor for the 2014/15 winter season.

Paul Cocks, who owns Café Oasis, kindly offered his financial support to the club for the campaign.

His help means WeySports Netball Club can reduce the costs for their players, many of which are still at school.

Club coach Juliette Frampton is thrilled to have Café Oasis on board.

She said: “The girls and I are delighted to have Café Oasis as our new sponsor.

“It’s great to be able to offer our players low-cost netball as well.

“All of our players already enjoy going to Café Oasis so I am sure we will have many socials there.”

Cocks added: “I am delighted to be able to support local sport, and the club, as I have known the family for a while.

“I am looking forward to going to watch their games.”

WeySports Netball Club currently have two teams in the South & West Dorset Netball League.

The A team secured promotion to winter division one last season and are looking to clinch a spot in the top tier for the summer term.

Their B team was reformed this season with girls aged 14 and 15 joining for their first taste of competitive league action.

They have developed well over the season, securing a win over WJNC and picking up points in other close encounters.

The club is looking for new players to join for the next summer season which starts in March 2015.

Players aged 14 and above who can play in any position are being sought.

Training is indoors at Budmouth on Tuesday evenings from 7pm-8pm.
