THE Terras gave youngster Harvey Davies a day to remember, after he was struck by a miss-placed shot during the club’s 1-0 victory over Cam-bridge City earlier this month.
The youngster sustained a broken wrist from midfielder George Rigg’s strike against the Lilywhites early on in the first half.
On hearing the news, the club offered the youngster free admission and a place in the sponsors’ lounge with his family before the weekend’s clash against Chippenham Town and former Bristol City man Rigg presented him with a signed shirt for his Redlands Under-7s team.
The youngster also received a signed ball.
Commenting on the gesture, Harvey’s dad John Davies told Echosport: “He was just behind the goal to the right about 10 or 15 minutes into the game when Rigg had the shot.
“Pete Saxby phoned up on the Monday and invited Harvey down to the next home game he could attend which was a brilliant thing to do.
“It is a lovely gesture from the club, they didn’t have to do anything.
“It didn’t need to be done at all, but we are chuffed to bits and he is probably going to go every week now.”
