JASON Matthews was determined to remain upbeat about his side’s performance at Hungerford Town even though they succumbed to their fourth defeat in five league outings.
The clinical Crusaders took all three points from Bulpit Lane, in a contest that the Terras’ boss believed was nip and tuck all the way.
“They took their chances and we didn’t take ours,” he told Echosport. “It was an excellent performance, the lads really gave me a shift.
“We just need to re-group and we are being tested to the limit at the moment, the boys are frustrated but they will be back to their best very soon and the sooner the better.
“We will work on a few things at training on Thursday and it is just a case of staying positive. We will stick together as a group and move on.”
The reverse, culminating with leaders Poole Town’s 6-0 win over Bideford last night, now means the Dolphins are five points clear at the summit with a game in hand over Matthews’ men.
