Organised by Weymouth gym owner and 2013 IBFA Mr Universe, Daz Hallett, the Southern Classic, sponsored by MuscleXcess in association with insaneforce.com, will feature more than 80 male and female athletes competing for 15 individual titles.

The winners of each category will not only receive trophies and bodybuilding supplements, but also a share of the £1,000-plus prize fund and invites to compete in the IBFA British finals.

Winners also have a chance to go on to represent Britain in the IBFA World Championships in Rome.

The victorious competitor in the male fitness category will also receive a six-month sponsorship contract from Nefertiti stage wear.

Organiser Hallett said: “It’s really exciting to be bringing a bodybuilding show to the south coast and we are expecting this to be one of the best attended shows on the IBFA calendar.

“Bodybuilding and fitness is growing at a rapid rate and events like this are the athletes’ reward for all their hard work.”
