BERE Regis are now the only unbeaten side left in the league as they top Division One with six wins from six.

Their last two victories, against Charlton Down and St George’s respectively, saw them cement first place at the table summit.

G Elphinson-Davis and D Rogerson both claimed a couple of dismissals in the five-wicket defeat of Charlton Down, while D Griffiths hit 48 during the narrow victory over the Saints.

Cattistock are second in the division, four points behind the leaders with a game in hand.

Billy Wallbridge smashed a brilliant 107 not out and S Tucker compiled an unbeaten half-century as Charlton Down were seen off by 89 runs.

Knocks of 34 and 33 by Liam Toohill and S Baker then guided Cattistock to a 17-run win against Dewlish.

However, Quenton Miller’s 71 helped Dewlish overcome Charlton Down and St George’s beat winless Martinstown.

Puddletown lead the way in Division Two following victories against Dorchester Casuals, Cerne Valley and Abbotsbury.

There was better news for the Swans against Cerne and Frampton as they recorded wins by six and five wickets respectively.

Chris Backhouse top scored in the first of those fixtures with an unbeaten 48.

Hazelbury Bryan saw off Frampton and Dorchester Casuals, with J Bettle claiming superb figures of 5-9 in the former.

In Division Three, Charlton Down Seconds head Plush at the top but they have played three matches more.

M Lovell (51 not out) and R Frapwell (40 and 92 not out) were in the runs during wins over Cosmos, Puddletown Reserves and Puddletown RFC.

But they did lose to Winfrith thanks largely to W Selfe’s magnificent unbeaten 108.

Plush, Cattistock Seconds and Cosmos did pick up wins in recent weeks, while Cosmos and Cattisock also tied with each other.

Dewlish are through to the Knockout Cup final and will now play either Abbotsbury or St George’s at Dorchester Rec next Friday.
