DORSET’S Unicorns Championship Western Division clash away to Cheshire has been abandoned because of rain.
Only three overs were possible this morning due to heavy showers and so the decision was taken to end the game with the hosts on 170-6.
The sides managed to fit in just a couple of overs yesterday too as the inclement weather struck at Grappenhall Cricket Club.
The one wicket to fall today was that of James Drummond, who made 45 before being caught by Dorset skipper Chris Park off the bowling of Masoor Khan.
The abandonment dented Dorset's chances of securing their first win of the season.
