BRIDPORT chief Trevor Senior admitted it will be a strange feeling when his side eventually get back into a full flow of fixtures.

The Bees, who are scheduled to make the trip to Hallen in the Toolstation Western League Premier Division tonight (7.45pm), have not featured in league action since their defeat at Odd Down on January 12.

Their previous game to that came against Street all the way back on Boxing Day.

Speaking about the lack of games, manager Senior, who does not hold much hope of tonight’s game going ahead, told Echosport: “It’s a nightmare.

“Once we start again it will be weird knowing what to do.

“Even at Odd Down we needed to have a little think about our preparation and everything because the previous game was Boxing Day.

“There was almost a three-week gap between those games and I expect now we are looking at almost a month.”

He added: “Sam and Max Buckler haven’t actually missed a game yet.

“Since Sam broke his leg at Odd Down and Max went off to New Zealand, they haven’t actually missed a competitive game.”

Hosts Hallen are currently six points below the Bees in the league standings, having also played three games more than the St Mary’s Field side.

They have won six out of 20 league fixtures so far.
