WEYMOUTH Rowing Club were proud of their successes at Swanage Regatta.
A total of 16 clubs attended from the South and South West, coming from as far as Cornwall.
It was a tribute event and Weymouth achieved second overall with the Ladies’ B crew streaking ahead to win their heat in style.
Results were also good in other heats for the club and a big plus was the youth crew, who were were delighted to achieve fifth with some strong opposition coming from other clubs.
The weather stayed fine and clubs had views across the bay from the gardens.
There was a barbecue, cakes and even a sports massage for tired limbs from Rob McKilroy (Sports massage and remedial therapist) from Portland.
Swanage Rowing Club put on a great regatta, enjoyed by all who attended it.
