PUDDLETOWN 55
DORSET DOCKERS 7
PUDDLETOWN continued their impressive early season form with a 55-7 trouncing of newly-promoted Dorset Dockers Seconds.
Despite forced changes in their line-up from last week and last minute unavailabilities, the Villagers’ strength in depth showed with a dominant performance in all areas of the park.
This was orchestrated by an assured performance by Sam Bailey at fly-half and from Piddle Brewery man of the match, second row Sam Pomeroy who bagged a hat-trick of tries.
Puddletown’s other try scorers were Ben Hargreaves, Jumbo Perrett, James House, Jez Michael-Beale and James Hill with Sam Bailey adding six conversions and a penalty.
Puddletown now sit second in the Dorset & Wilts Two table after two games.
The Greenfields-based club have 10 points, along with leaders Bournemouth and third-placed New Milton Seconds.
