BALTI Sports manager Marco Nott welcomes back captain Charlie Kenderdine as his side head into one of their toughest fixtures of the season against Merley Cobham Sports tomorrow (3pm).
There will be selection conundrums for Nott as his XI that lost to Parley Sports last weekend all came through the fixture unscathed, whilst there are returns for Kenderdine and Sam Nichols.
The table toppers know a point will keep them at the summit of the Dorset Premier League, but their boss wants a positive result.
He told Echosport: “They’re an experienced side but we’re top of the league, so we should go into the game full of confidence.
“We know they will be there or thereabouts at the end of the season and if we can get a result then that will be excellent.
“A point or three would be great for the club going forward.
“We’ve got a tough month coming up in November and the next five or six games will be crucial to us.”
He added: “There is a great competition in the squad and we trained really well on Tuesday night.
“Charlie (Kenderdine) will come back in. He’s our captain and we really missed him on Saturday.
“There will be some more changes because defensively we were poor last week.”
