DORCHESTER Town player-manager Mark Jermyn insists he will be putting out his strongest team when the Magpies take on Barnstaple Town at the Avenue tomorrow (3pm).
The county town side have struggled in cup competitions this season, losing 3-0 to Banbury United in the FA Cup and 10-0 in the League Challenge Cup at the hands of Salisbury earlier this month.
But, Jermyn wants his side to attack from the outset in the FA Trophy tie.
He told Echosport: “We will be putting out the strongest team that we can select with every intention of winning the game.
“We have to make sure the team is fit.
“We’re going to go out there and be on the front foot from the start.
“Hopefully that will see us through. Whatever happens, we will be out to attack.”
Jermyn picked up a foot injury on Tuesday night but, the rest of the squad came through the 2-1 defeat with Slough.
He added: “At the minimum I will be on the bench.
“The rest of the squad is fit. The only one who will miss out is Nick Crittenden (calf).
“We’re going to have a decent bench tomorrow and that’s something I’ve not had to boast about for most of the season.
“It’s all positive and the boys are very buoyant.”
